I think we can all agree that this was the moment we knew that Eamon was a) loyal to Orlais and b) a big old party pooper. A mabari fighting to determine the fate of the country is the most Fereldan thing ever, and I will hear nothing said against this glorious plan.

I made my own headcanon that everyone thought that Mabari is too strong of an oponent for any mortal to face and didn't want such an one-sided fight.

Hound von Slobberkins III would definitely have wiped the floor with Little Loghi.

But since there are 'rules' and 'laws' that need to be followed, my Human Noble Warden decided to do it instead.

The dog was unimpressed by my performance.

Well, Eamon DID spend his formative years out-of-country. Not that surprising that he's disrespectful of time-honored Fereldan traditions.

Then again, he's Eamon. The man can't go a day without figuring out a new way of being a horse's ass to those around him.

Eamon can't even figure out his wife is probably fucking his hot younger brother behind his back XD

Also he's a traitor to Ferelden, clearly.

Totally read that in Loghain's voice

This feels like a good time to mention (I may have done so before) how amusing I find it that Anora, Loghain's child, is probably the most Orlesian noble we meet in Ferelden.

@mamiser: It would be unfair to take advantage of Loghain's proper Fereldan love for dogs like that, you are right, I should have known.

@Deonis: The dog would probably have had a more honorable duel than my rogue, let's be real. Throwing sand in people's eyes is generally frowned upon, apparently.

@Broseidon: To be fair, I don't think Eamon is ACTIVELY trying to ruin everyone's fun. It's just a natural skill of his.

@Davian Veq: Water it, you mean. Like a good dog.

@ThatOneDork: This pleases the author. Very much.

@Norgrath: Hey now, don't forget Eamon married an Orlesian. And that Anora is gloriously petty in honoring her father if he dies.
I, of course, say if because Loghain is live and kicking and not happy about it in my playthrough.
