Playing Shepard had me all calm and "no worries, I've got this". And then. Then ME2 forces me to play as Joker. I love Joker, I really do, but in that moment I had 0 confidence in our ability to deal with this situation.
That is to say, it was amazing (but really, Shepard, RUN FASTER)

that's what was so awesome about this mission, it was scary as fuck, it really felt like we are going to die! =D

the really annoying thing about shepard's running in the first game is that, he only ran faster in combat, out of combat the camera just changed angle, like.. the fuck?!

hey, at least ryder got a jetpack! =D

Shepard really has no right to be slow in 2. Remember the whole arsenal of weapons you had to carry in 1. And then you could go with a pistol and an smg. Lazy Shepard, just lazy. Oh, and in 3 it's only quasi the whole universe thats at stake, lets just slowly jog everywhere.

I was briefly cosplaying Jeff Goldblum in Jurassic Park while playing that section.

In slight fairness to Shepard in 2, They DID just wake up from a coma with new presumably incredibly heavy cybernetics and metallic bones and joints from Project Lazarus. Just be glad that TIM never thought to use a Magneto like trap to . . well trap and capture Shepard in 3.

In the original game it took me an embarrassingly long time to realize you could run. Afterwards I never walked normally.

@Blazypika2: It was great! Both the Joker part AND the jetpack. The jetpack was probably one of my favorite parts of MEA? It had a very good feel to it.

@Sharp-Claw: You just can't hurry a good thing, I suppose, and it... doesn't get better than commander Shepard?

@Broseidon: A memorable experience on two accounts then! (I've seen that movie so many times, and yet all I can think is "slow sexy walk towards dino poop" every time someone mentions it...)

@NewWillinium: There is that, but then again... they rebuilt Shepard, made them better... surely they can improve the running speed then?

@WillR: Why walk when you can run? Unless it's real life, in which case I am not a big fan of running. Ever.
