Ayep! If this comic was a child, it would be ready to head off to school by now. Mother is so proud <3

Infinitely more proud than Aveline is of Hawke and her inability to lay off the breaking-and-entering followed by murder and theft. But I'm going to be perfectly honest here. It's kind of on Aveline, being the guard captain, to arrest her friend who clearly has no respect for the law rather than pretend that everything is alright... or join in.

Happy birthday! i'd say thanks for 7 years of laughter, but i only discovered the comic last year, but it's still valid, so thanks for the laughs! =D

and i'd be remiss if i didn't comment on the fact that murder is not always illegal in thedas. a lot of mercs like the red irons make an honest living out of killing people who got a contract on them. the guards kill people who resist arrest. and also, the amount of people who kill that wasn't in self defense you can count on one hand and you'd might still get spare fingers.

and lastly, one of my hawkes actually called out aveline for being a hypocrite xD

7 years ? Damn...even I didn't lurk that long. But I gotta say only one day earlier would have been the best birth-day ever.

But to be fair to Hawke,it's not her/his fault every hobo with a knife thinks he can take down the champion of Kirkwall.

Happy birthday, Champions and Heroes!

I can see Hawke yelling OBJECTION all Phoenix Wright-style at Aveline as she's pulling the torn trousers off of a dead merc. "It's self defense, Aveline!"

Wait, wait, wait. Seven?? Geez, I still remember that super sad 5th birthday post. Meaning, I guess, that this has made Monday’s bearable for more than two years. Thanks for that, and happy birthday!

Tack!

Tack så sjukt mycket! Har nog haft mer kul med din serie än jag haft med Dragon Age och jag tycker väldigt mycket om dem!

I can see hawke selling them for some silver, or just reading them for the codex xp and never touching them again.

But Kirkwall and Orlais are smaller than Starkhaven or Ferelden. This makes sense if you understand the places.

Happy Birthday, C&H! :D

I agree, though. Aveline can hardly blame Hawke for her murderous ways if she joins in or ignores them. XD

@Blazypika2: The best part about discovering a long running comic late is that you have so much more to read from the very beginning. No shame in that!

@Sharp-Claw: Technically it's probably a month or two older, back in the day we did prepare a little before getting the ball rolling. I think. It was long ago.

Every hobo with a knife and all of their upstairs neighbors.

@Guesty Guestface: Pretty sure those trousers are only torn because Hawke is rubbish at undressing others too.

@Norwegian: 5th birthday was a sad birthday, it is known. Thanks for sticking with me and the comic for two years!

@Eythor: Ah! Vad söt du är! Tackar tackar!

@wildmageguy: "Reading" you say. Opening and closing them for the xp, not bothering to read a single word, I say.
And I'm pretty sure at least 50% of the Ferelden laws are about protecting dogs.

@Bethris: Thank you! It's been... a surprisingly long and short ride at the same time haha

@schtinsu: Thanks for sticking with this disaster for two years! *cue fumbling the high five like a total loser*
