There's a four day convention this week, so instead of a comic this week you get an illustration that took 2 years to finish. I have no memory what was going to be in the background, so here we are.
At the core of it I feel that it was criminal that Loghain didn't say a single thing about Anora in Dragon Age Inquisition (what do you mean you wouldn't know? Didn't everyone choose to sacrifice everyone and everything to keep this grumpypants alive?) So. Loghain. Letters to Anora. Because damnit Bioware.

Meanwhile, if you want the comics two days early (!), or just shower me with some love (!!), I have a patreon now over here:

It took some time, but when I actually had and talked to Loghain in DAI, I discovered that these conversations had a strange kind of charm. It actually made me to a replay of DAO with Warden Noble that still saw him as a Riverdane hero. It was atually probably the best playthrough I have played of DAO (though it may be more because I stoped repeating all the choices I have ever made and went a little different, but whatev.).

...Then again for the first time chosing who stays in the Fade was a goddamn trainwreck for me.

Honestly no matter how many times i do origins-inquisition even the one where i forced myself to side with loghain and stuff for story differences I STILL think the guys a self centered prick :P no matter how i combined it i just couldnt stand the guy's story or presence

@mamiser: Any game that is a completely different experience when you (finally manage to) choose different dialogue options is a good game in my book.
And... I ended up lying on my bed for 5 minutes wangsting when the Fade situation reared its ugly head. It was awful.

@Robert Archer: He's not for everybody, I totally get that, but! I've loved redeemable villains since I was a very small child indeed, and he more or less won me over in the first conversation I had with him, before his role as a villain was even revealed (aside from the obvious character design). I am weak.

Things is...

@zenat: I too like redeemable villains but to me he never 'got' that vibe. The poorly done retconish thing they did for him in inquisition to handle their way of taking his story not to mention the lukewarm comics in the same vein. I dont know taking his story off the lore or origins onward and meshing it together. I just felt if you look at it from an in game lore worldview, the guy WAS evil and WAS a dick/traitor totally deserving of death. Even if recruited into the Grey Wardens he deserved the cold reception he would get from any Feralden and such alike if you ask me. Different strokes for different folks I guess :P
