Champion and Heroes turns six today! Whooo! And I am probably playing Mass Effect: Andromeda. Sorry, Hawke, next time... maybe... I mean... you're a big girl now, surely...

Congratulations

Thank you for all your lovely comics for such a long time! I am always anticipating your work every week!

Congratulations! I owe the fact that I even play Mass Effect to this (I was always more into the whole medieval thing, never even considered it before seeing it here), and now I sat twelve hours on Saturday, so thank you. And again, congrats. Best part of the internet :-)

6 years, damn, congrats. Really looking forward to your characterization of the Ryder clan.

Congrats!!

How is Andromeda? I've heard a lot of conflicting opinions. I mean, I'm going to get it no matter what, but if the positive opinions start to outweigh the negative it'll prompt me to get it sooner rather than later.

@Happy Birthday: Thank you! Honestly, hearing from the readers is what keeps me going :)

@Norwegian: Haha, I'm glad to hear it, and thank you! It always warms my ickle heart when people tell me they're playing a game because of this silly comic.

@Sharp-Claw: Thanks :) I'm hoping for a lot of new material to work with now that Andromeda is out haha

@Guesty Guestface: I haven't gotten super far into the game yet, but there are things that I like, and things that I don't like. Still, it's a new adventure and I dare to hope I will get attached to it. I mean, I saw a hologram of the Normandy and teared up. I'm not going to pretend that I'm even remotely neutral to the Mass Effect series.

@Guesty Guestface: So I'm about 20 hours in and I love it. I think the gameplay mechanics are the best in the series and it has exploration like DAI but better IMO. The plot so far hasn't blown me away but it's still enjoyable and it has all the characters and character interaction that Bioware is known for. The animations are definitely worse than we have a right to expect and there are a couple of moments where the writing is not very good (but no more than in say me2) but neither of those has really dampened my enjoyment. The major problem imo is glitches: there are a lot of little freezes, occasional large ones and I'm locked out of three minor side quests for some reason.

@zenat: Loophole: There's messages in the game from "V. Tethris", and "C. Hawke".

@zenat: I completely understand. My love for pretty much all things Bioware and Bethesda is about as close to unconditional as I can get. I just love them, glitches and all.

@Norgrath: Yeah, not surprised to hear about the glitches. I am surprised about the animations, though. I had assumed they would be at least on par with DAI, which I was quite pleased with. I'm gonna call Andromeda a birthday lister - get it as a gift later in the year, hopefully after they've released some major patches to at least fix the egregious glitches.
