If only there was someone who could be the voice of reason when Hawke gets involved in a revolution and the Inquisitor amasses an alarming number of soldiers in the mountains... Someone like a respectable hero who has saved the world from a horrible fate, maybe someone sensible, someone who has been through something similar and could understand where these surprising leaders arose from, someone... fully voiced to be heard over the booing Orlesians would help.
Yes, thank you!!! Such a wonderful dream, that would be...!!
Be careful what you wish for...better a silent protag. then a voice that doesn'T fit.
But it IS bioware, hmmm.
How 'bout some suggestions ?
I dunno, I think I'd be down for BioWare making a running gag over the Warden never being in a game again because they're involved in world-saving shenanigans offscreen. Give us a status update every game, let us know when they get around to breaking into the Chantry archives to steal Andraste's secret notes on the nature of the darkspawn, carved in a humongous cheese wheel.
I wouldn't mind seeing a fan attempt/mod that gives a voice to the Warden in Origins. I'm biased towards a female voice if nothing else because I'm a woman myself. XD; But it'd be really cool either way, I think!
...the voice I always picture for my male wardens is the guy who did Minsc in BG I forget his name, and for my female wardens its usually either the chick who did Jaheria for my human/dwarf ones or the chick who did Viconia for my elves lol I think I just play way too many bioware games LOL
@Sharp-Claw: While that is true, I find that you often end up not actually hearing the voice half of the time when it's a bit meh so it doesn't bother you after a while.
@Guest: Well, it's Bioware, so I suppose Andraste's secret notes about darkspawn carved into an ancient cheese wheel would make sense.
@Jen: I've got no idea what is going on in the modding community (aside from a whole lot of passion) but that would be really cool.
@Robert Archer: One can never play too many Bioware games. So sayeth the wise Alaundo.
YAS!!! I would LOVE another game with the warden (with a voice!). While I love the other games, Origins has a special place in my heart (it was the first one I played, I sat for 17 hours straight the day I got it. Because I could. And I was 12).
My female mage would definitely be a good help for Hawke and the Inquisitor. She was a perfect snarky yet reasonable and mature and just amazing person. And I miss her. And she'd have the best sarcastic comments.
And no, this is not at all just my personal opinion. I am entirely impartial in this. Merely expressing facts.
Really though, that would be awesome. Sorry about the long/late comment.
Hero *write on a paper*: I'm voiceless stupid dumbass !!! i'm not Shepard ! Where are my dialogue option ?!
@zenat: Indeed true enough! Also happy holidays :D also we need more Boo, his cameo in Mass Effect wasnt good enough damnit LOL
@Norwegian: No need to apologize! I read all comments that come in, no matter how much time has passed since the comic was posted :) I'm a bit scared to think about how many hours at a time I'd sit and play Dragon Age to. A concerning amount of hours in a row, that's for certain haha
@allatsuki: Shepard, Hawke, Inquisitor... everyone else :(
@Robert Archer: Boo was great, except that he ate a quick item slot with his fluffy squeaky being. Still, 10/10 cameo in Mass Effect, no lie. The panic I felt when someone had let him escape and run lose in the ship where he could get hurt was real, I tell you.
