Hey peeps, it's National Novel Writing Month time! 50 000 words during the month of November, come on and join me in spewing words on a page and maybe make that story happen! It's gonna be great!
I sign up for nano this year. First time since 2012. Lets hope I can vet the rust out enough to write that much
@Shaleene: Woohoo! Fellow NaNoers! Haha I do this every year, and every year I end up going "whyyyyyy" when I don't get nearly enough sleep.
Oh, that sounds interesting!
I'll be doing NaNo too! Been prepping for it since I got an idea right before September. Hoping I'm ready and can make time between class and work. Good luck to you and everyone else who is undertaking this task!
@Malla: I've been doing it since... 2001? 2002? I highly recommend it. You learn the most valuable skill of word pooping on command. And also you get a first draft pushed out at surprising speed.
@Mooisme: Whooo! I'm a big ol' cheater and I'm going to continue on the story I've already started on, and maybe dual-wield two projects to boot in case the inspiration well grows dry for one story.
I always mean to do NaNoWriMo, and I've always managed to get myself wrapped up in something that keeps me busy for half of November every year. Alas.
Also, it seems Varric would find it an easy challenge. All he'd have to do is start answering that mail from the Merchant's Guild.
Oh yes. Hoping to finish my blasted epic during then. If anything, it'll get me 50k closer to the end.
@Guest: You know, you can always set a personal goal rather than 50k and just use the NaNo hype and community to help you achieve that instead. No shame in that. And if summer is easier for you, there is camp NaNoWriMo too! (yes, hi, I am a proud promoter of NaNo XD)
@Aldrea Alien: Haha I have no hope of *finishing* my story, but I'm going to get further on it and that's what matters.
Anyone else look at the comic and think 'Cassandra you're getting a weeee bit close/creepy there on Varric'
