When Leliana came running to alert me that Morrigan had run through the Eluvian I genuinely didn't believe it was her. At all. I was so convinced that it was a demon who was going to mess things up in Skyhold and that I wouldn't be back until months later when everything was catastrophic and would have to do intense damage control, that it was a bigger twist that it genuinely *was* Leliana than if it had been a demon pretending to be her.
I felt a bit guilty about not believing her once I saw Morrigan in the Fade. Then I played another playthrough and supported the templars and felt VERY justified in my fears.
And you wonder why she wants to kill you...
@Norgrath: I am amazed every day my inquisitor wakes up in the morning, no lie.
My first Inquisitor jumped into Eluvian before Leliana was even four seconds into her lines. Shows how gullible I am.
...Though strangely enough I was rather suspicious of Josephine at the begining of the game. I knew there will be Cullen, Leliana and Cassandra, but I was unprepared to see her in the war room. I thought she would betray us or something.
If you kill Leliana in Origins, you learn that DAI Leliana wasn't even human, but apparently a flock of birds created from lyrium or something. So... maybe that explains it?
Seems like someone up in bioware was a little bird-brained...
@Deedee: ACtually if you kill her in DAO in DAI she says the warden killed her but then she was 'resurrected by the maker' so i guess she's like some jesus thing now personally i called it bull shit mixed with plot retconning due mainly DUE TO THE STUPID COMICS LIKE NO ONE READ!
At the end of the Trespasser DLC in the epilogue slides, if Leliana died in Origins she will mysteriously vanish and leave only a cryptic note referring to a "song", which references lyrium. Oghren will note that the Temple of Sacred Ashes was extremely rich in magical lyrium. The implication here is that Leliana died and then a spirit found and impersonated her, much like Cole
Ah hmm i forgot about that good point I stand corrected!
Was I the only one who didn't want to bother going through the eluvian to help Morrigan? Like...she can handle herself. Figure her own shit out. She's got this. Now, I'm gonna go have a nap. Let me know how things turn out, Leliana.
