Last year we spotted Peter Stormare in Until Dawn and got very excited. However, it turns out he is in fact in everything. On the other hand, he's great. Keep putting him in everything. At least then the Swedish will be correct.
And honestly, Bioware, the pronounciation of Sigrun is messed up too and it hurts me. A lot. Stahp. You can't spell it all Swedish and then pronounce it... like that.
Would you say the pronunciation is unBEARable?
(couldn't help it, sorry!)
@Guest: I hate you so much right now. Shame upon you, shame upon your family, shame upon your bear.
So... I didn't notice that in DA:I... (To be fair, I'm only Norwegian, not Swedish, but I still think I should have seen it). Now that you've pointed it out it seems so obvious though... I'm just going to tell myself it's because of the pronounciation...
Huh, I never realised Sigrun was Swedish. How's it supposed to be pronounced? (I've always pronounced it Sig-run, but now I suspect that's incorrect.)
@zenat: Now, now, there's no point BEARing a grudge. You'll just emBEARass yourself, and that's something you PAWSibly want to avoid.
@Norwegian: I think I noticed mainly because I always have subtitles on, and I read ahead of the voice actress and got all "hah! Big beautiful! That's great" and chuckled a bit and THEN... the voice actress caught up... :I
@Pingvin: Sig-run is correct (like the first entry here, made by a guest, https://www.howtopronounce.com/sigrun/) the problem is that in the game they pronounce it Sig-rune which is... not... correct. I should add that "Rune" is a name, but it is also not pronounced like the English word "rune" so...
@Guest: I refuse to be dragged into a pun-off. Absolutely refuse. I have enough friends who engage in this sort of socially unacceptable behavior. I have done nothing to deserve this... punishment (cue wincing at myself...)
