Bioware's pitch for Mass Effect Andromeda kiiiiinda made me go "wtf? Who approved this?" because, well, it kind of sounds like... well... not a game that I would ever want to play.
Pretty sure you've gone a little to far in overthinking it. However, now I can't get that image out of my mind as well. So I'm totally blaming you for that. :3
Accidentally kill your new found subjects with various diseases you didn't even think existed! Or just kill them all later when they revolt! The choice is yours in Mass Effect Andromeda!
@Deonis: I have never in my life exaggerated anything for the sake of a comic and I am gravely offended that you would suggest anything of the sort.
But for real though, that line feels... very "we want this land and the people living on it are ready to fight to protect what is honestly theirs, so we are going to call them evil and make it easier to justify murdering them and taking their shit."
@Anon: Turns out the quarians weren't the most sensitive to disease after all. Oops?
Still a better ending than Mass Effect 3... maybe.
Dominating a hostile invading force to your will, destroying a hostile invading force to your will, or culturally (and physically) raping everything and everyone to create a homogeneous species and society?

Sooo... this actually ties perfectly into the 'If Bioware were 100% honest with us' video I just watched like 1/2 hour ago. check it out on youtube - it explains a lot...
