I think it's a testament to our different playstyles that we always seem to find different enemies Giant Pains In the Behind. In ME3 the Brutes vs Phantoms was likely in large part due to choice of class, but in Inquisition we both played elven mages and yet...

With big demons you need guard breakers. With the icy flighty ones, you need someone who can throw a chain to pull them in. As a human warrior I could do that. But still, both of them were a pain in the ass to deal with.

I rolled elven Mage with Knight-Enchanter and mixed elements. Pre-nerf, Spirit Blade absolutely annihilated Guard, so Pride demons were easy, and with the right Staff and passives, Despair demons were manageable. It was when I rolled a Rogue that Despair demons became a complete nightmare...

@4mation: I had the exact opposite problem. My Elven Knight-Enchanter was pretty awesome, don't get me wrong, but my Human archer/assassin was one-shotting almost everything by level 20. Even the dragons were dying within 5 minutes.

In the multiplayer at least the terrors (not fear demons, just terrors) are the worst. The spontaneous stuns and damage when they appear and the fear from the screams is just... nightmarish (sorry).
