Honestly, I understand the reusing of assets and having everyone holding the same sword and stuff.
But look at those little noodle arms. There’s no way those little noodle arms can hold up that bigass sword.
I always wondered at mage-inquisitors using that sword for executions. It seems cruel - no way is that going to be beheading in a single clean stroke.
Well having a Qunari mage, make it easier to do heavy and "normally impossible stuff for a mage" things (some of them)
Elves are just really sinewy.
But imagine how grumpy Leliana would be if you dropped the sword.
My headcanon is that my elven inquisitor managed this scene somehow with gritted teeth solely because he didn't want to piss off his spymaster.
@justicewench: Brb I gotta go behead Erimond with a mage Inquisitor.
I actually think most of the one handed swords in DAI are a little too big and lacking in proper proportions.
...why they should quit with being so strict about what class uses what.
If Elfquisitor was allowed to put in at LEAST 5 points in strength and be allowed to use either a one handed sword or again at the very LEAST a dagger than this would seem less likely!
Well for male elves fixing their arms and bodies that make them look like pudgy morons that had a run in with Android 18 would also help.
I never executed anyone :| i'm to soft to just kill them v.v always giving them jobs to repay their guilt
maby I will on the third try with human/elf rogue
I did female elf rogue for my first playthrough, with a Josie romance.
And, honestly, I do love her, but that romance scene made me laugh my ass off. Seeing my spindly stick of an Inquisitor pick up and twirl this woman who's easily twice her size was worse than any cheesy declaration of love.
(also, that Inquisitor sword is the length of an elf and the breadth of a dwarf. just saying BioWare)
@justicewench: No, honestly that's just bad planning from the inquisiton. No way can her noodly appendage take care of a head in one blow, regardless of weapon.
@ted the saiyanfox: Qunari are the exception to this noodle rule when it comes to mages evidently. Because Qunari are powerful and awesome!
@Deonis: Sinewy and stubborn as hell?
@Warrion: There's a point where adrenaline alone cannot make up for weak noodle arms. At least I can't see my mage being able to XD
@Bilal: I'd love to see them fixing the cliping issues with the male elf model as well....
@Yume: Well, I hate to say this, but the pile of bodies was mighty and great when I made my first run. I only have so much patience it seems XD
@4mation: Maybe the elves simply have different muscles than previously biologically observed? at this point it sounds as plausible as anything else XD. (that sword is mighty and makes anyone who's not Qunari look weak.)
@justicewench: Eh, swords aren't really heavy, not even the ornamental ones, and if this is the one the Inquisitor uses for executions then it shouldn't be heavy.
