And don't get me started on the unclimbable mountains and the bloody red templars who just wouldn't leave me alone. Ugh!
In my defence, it was like 2 am and I just really, really wanted to get Loghain to the relative safety that is Skyhold so I could get some sleep and not lie awake and fret. Had Inquisition been like Origins, I would have had yet another returning-to-an-empty-Redcliffe incident because apparently I am too emotionally involved to just save the game and go the fuck to sleep.
It is hard to choose between the need to sleep and In-game morals or at least for me it is
So... I take it Hawke didn't get to live to know Coryfi-shit's dead?
@ted the saiyanfox: It really, really is :I
@Deonis: It was physically painful and I actually stepped away from the computer and lay down on my bed for like five minutes before I could even decide.
You see, this is why I made Stroud take the sacrifice... He was an o.k. character... but he doesn't hold up to Alistar, Hawke, or Loghain...
@Damean: And this is why I glare at all my friends when we talk about this. They ALL got Stroud. While I'm there all, yeah no worries, just pick one of my babies, sure no problem :I
....if an individual person's life (Stroud's I'm referring to in this case) has become a complacent matter of who was more important.
Granted Stroud made what like, 2? 3? Around 2 or 3 appearances in Dragon Age II as his debut? So yeah the Gray Warden's being all Dick Cheese during Inquisition probably didn't help things.
@Bilal: You can't just turn up for like the second time with an unattractive moustache and think you are going to live when up against someone I've had years to fuss over. Especially when I spent a lot of time trying to get the competition to look right upon their return.
There's also a wyvern!
