There was this one war table mission, where you were supposed to boost the soldiers’ morale at the keep in the Western Approach. The suggestions gave me some pause. This is how I imagine it all played out at the table XD
Yeah, I saw that too xD
I was like, "....I'm gonna go with Cullen..."
Well... you can't eat shoes or books. So my choice was made rather quickly.
@Kat: Ye-ah... I mean a lot of the time the other two have the best solution according to myself, but in this case. I'll leave the soldier care to Cullen.
@Deonis: I liked that Leliana was focused on shoes, given how she was in DA:O and Josephine's belief in the fact that books can solve anything was rather cute. But when it comes to the soldiers's well being, I'm trusting my Commander XD.
*whispers* Am I the only one who picked the shoes (the first time)? Since having to march around Thedas in bad gear must be a nightmare...
@warrion: Haha, I considered it. I did. But honestly, I trust Cullen on this one XD. Also you can't deny, Leliana has a fixation on shoes XD
What proportion of inquisition soldiers could even read? Sometimes it bothers me how DA glosses over how shitty medieval life was.
@Norgrath: I like to think of it as Josephine being naive rather than anything else. In her world books are the solution to everything. But yeah, they gloss over a lot of problematic things that could use more attention...
If only Cullen looked more like you draw him, and less like he actually looked in game, I'd really like him in the game...
I don't know, he just looks a bit too much like Guy Pearce for me. I mean, misunderstand me right, he's an attractive guy still; he just doesn't feel like the same character to me. :<
@Amare: Well, the food is the best idea, but Leiliana's isn't BAD. Shoes are also useful. Especially if your job involves walking long distances. (Unless she means the velvet kind. Then she's kinda dense.)
@Becty: Yeah I know :I They made his features very round... and I'm all about angles really. They keep trying to make him into more and more of a pretty boy I guess. It's a shame really :I (I'm glad you like how I draw him though <3)
@riverdaleswhiteflash: No, I know. I was pretty close to picking the shoes myself, but I felt like Cullen would know best when it came to the soldiers. I just find the connection between Leliana's rant about shoes in Origin and that war table mission pretty amusing. Also, she does specify that it's meant to be functional shoes XD. For the sake of comedy though <3.
This strip reminds me how much I lost from my Inquisition experience. I don't have an HD monitor but the game doesn't support inferior graphics so I could play but the vast majority of the text was illegible(pity my first world problem).
I actually considered between the functional shoes and the better food but ultimately went with Cullen on every playthrough so far. Because nice food does help you feel better.
@Amare: Oh, good. I found the other possibility disturbingly credible in the absence of having actually played the mission. (Freaking four-core literal requirement.)
I remind this scene. I took the shoes first... but what I saw in the post by the soldiers was pretty mean XD
So I took the books cause this is the thing what gave the best reply by the soldiers :)
Aww Cullen, I choose Cullen, cause it's Cullen >3
Holy shit! This funnny!
This needs a dub so bad.
