Ok, so there is this bug in Inquisition, where the ribs that indicate you killed an animal or some such just appears WAAAAY off from where the poor animal actually died (happens with other looting stuff too). But I like to attribute this to Cassandra being an unstoppable fighting beast with the meanest swing to ever grace Thedas.
And no, there is no one else you will want on your team more than Cassandra. She is the best I tell you, BEST. The rest of the team can be down for the count and she will take that bear/giant/dragon down regardless.
I've had something similar happen as well. It seemed to occur when I'm quite a distance away from the kill and when the creature dies I just stand on the carcass, somehow.
Huh. A bug that makes it look like you overkilled things.
@Deonis: That happens too, and if the enemy is really far away when they die I don't really mind. I spend quite a lot of time running around already XD
Hihi, I had this with a mage. Did the last hit on the creature, and the loot was "miles" away from the creature XD
And you are so right with Cassie. I fought with her against the dragon in crestwood, and after two minutes in battle, Inqui and Sera died. Only Cassie and Viv were alive. And what can I say. Viv healed and Cassie killed the beast literally alone :D
This reminds me on one banter between Sera and Cassandra (about punching bears) :D
I find Blackwall to be better once he gets the champion specialization and can literally become invincible.
It's even better when you are watching a bear mauling some red lyrium lurkers and the loot lands right next to you, even though you're far away :D
Every time I kill someone or something all that's left is a bloody rib cage and a satchel.
