While fiddling around in the Dragon Age keep I realized that, holy shit, I nearly got the perfectly messed up royal family on my first round. So I... tweaked it a bit (aka harden Alistair, suck it up, marry Anora) and everything fell into place. Mmm-mmm. Unfortunately, the happy family don't acknowledge how extraordinarily merry their holiday gatherings (that they clearly have, shush) are in Inquisition.
Minor spoilers for character designs and name, but otherwise only Origin info so... we hope you're ok with that D:
A happy holiday to all of you, may it be better than the royal Fereldan family's!
Thanksgiving must be really awkward.
So do they hang the holy or each other?
Wow guys, you are so very... American haha
@Deonis: I would assume that Ferelden don't have Thanksgiving so... bullet dodged?
@Aline1: Each other, I am pretty sure. (I honestly have no clue what hang the holy is)
I love how everyone but Loghain is glaring at each other sideways while he just looks strait ahead with his all-purpose frown.
Its too bad you see so little of Alistair, Annora, and Loghain in Inquisition
@Griffen: (ok spoiler time here) I thought I actually got to see a lot of Loghain in Inquisition, considering he was my surviving warden from Origins (Alistair takes his place if he's the warden, otherwise you get Stroud) I really didn't expect it and was super happy... and then had to spend two days not playing because I fretted so bad that he was going to meet a horrible end. Would have liked to see more of Anora though, and maybe some... well... Loghain-Anora-father-daughter-anything would have been nice.
@zenat: Wait, wait, I have no internet at home so my X-box was stuck with the default world. So if I import, that decision is... AHHHH! *cursewords*
@Sona: Super important and the source of great joy and horror? Yes. Yes it is.
@zenat: Imagine how other origins would feel about this, if put on the same situation your city elf was in. Amell would be funny as the champion of Kirkwall would invited(and the skeletons of late members) probably feeling "Hawkward" at the time
@some guy: Oh definitely, but they would miss out on the happy and joyful feelings of having your people being sold into slavery previously and the harsh response from the crown to the elven riots that come later.
@zenat: I understand, but diplomatic Hawke might as well try to spread the holiday spirit, aggressive(douche bag)Hawke would just punch... er smack some sense into every one, and sarcastic Hawke will outright troll them and steal their drinks to get drunk. Oh Varric would have some Chistmas tale.
@some guy: Considering that you learn in Inquisition that your surviving Warden and Hawke are friends... that isn't out of the question, provided they get invited (or invite themselves).
@zenat: Invite themselves, defentily as meeting the royal family is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Bonus points for romanced Sebastian to make it more royal-ly. Or romanced Merrill to find that the Dalish Warden's closest friend let alone seeing her as a sister as the dialogue would mention, is in a relationship with the Grey Wardens' closest ally. Let's hope the Dalish Warden already learns to appreciate 'shemlen' at the time. And while bringing the subject of slavery, City Elf and Fenris are going to be the best of friends and only hold sharing their "joy" to Anora and Loghain in respect of their lovers.
Yeah I got him as my Warden in my world too. What I meant was is that unlike Morrigan and Hawke who stick around for a while, Loghain shows up in a few missions and that's it.
Anora and Alistair only show up for like a minute during the Mage/Templar mission to yell at his mom, and then he has some missions on the War Table (which don't count)
Opps silly me I forgot the second L in holly. still it was a lion of winter reference. One much always appreciate the classics.
@Griffen: DLC hopefully? Wait... this is EA that owns the rights. God (or Maker if you want) help Bioware and us all.
