I've read two Dragon Age books but not the one Cole is in (and I think that's good actually, I can go into the game without any idea of what he should be like), and though tumblr has spoiled me some I haven't really seen much on the rest of the characters (while trying not to see it, granted). So this is what we've got for you this week. Champion and Heroes with truly nothing to go on.

We are very proud to have a Swedish representative in the game, let me tell you (and no, Ukraine, you can't have her. It's bad enough we can never be 100% sure if our athletes are ours or yours on big events, let us have this one).

Oh, allow me a word of advice:

Whether prior to, or after completing Inquisition, you would most definitely want to read "The Masked Empire."

Written by phenomenal paragon of our species, one Partick Weekes, (And Archduke of Twitter, by now) it is most decisively the best of DA novels up to its point... And likely a must read, actually, for any greater fan, given that it precedes the mage-templar war, immediately, and sets the stage for Orlais, in Inquisition's time frame, all aside introducing a number of key characters.

Plus, it's excellent. In fact, regardless of it, I'd be remiss not to mention Patrick's Rouges of the Republic Series, beginning with the Palace job. Having just finished it, I'm yet to stop bouncing from having discovered such a wonderful take on high-magic fantasy, party dynamic, and all written by a most pleasant author, and it shows. Excellent books, all, should you need a read.

Sorry for a long post, (I'm not sure how you take to clutter in your comment section) but I felt things needed be said.

@Morgan The Skald: Don't worry about the length, we don't mind at all :) If I can get my hands on the book, I will read it later, but living in Sweden tends to limit options a little bit. And I've got a pile of books that need reading to boot, so it might have to get in line haha

Sorry this comment is kind of late, but I didn't recruit Leliana on my first play through because I kinda rushed through Lothering. I felt bad because she probably got killed by Darkspawn.
