Looks like Australia was having an off day or two then. :)
Hope you enjoyed yourself there and maybe you should look up some tips on how to stay awake. Boredom is powerful but not invincible.
oh thats great ^^ i would never go cause of the spiders =3= also this drawing is basically me in math through all my years of school, from Kindergarder to 12th grade
@Draven22: I visited relatives in Australia back in 2005. And got bitten by a spider. The emergency staff just looked me up and down when I came in and went "well, you're standing up" and sprayed some antibacterial or some such on the bite and sent me on my way. I'm still not quite over how my *clearly* certain death was a casual eh for them XD
@zenat: probably because they see it all the time and figure "oh you're standing up, your immune system will fight it off" and sent you on your way..but i'm just plain afraid of spiders.
I entirely sympathize.
I have lived in Australia my whole life and never once been bitten by a spider. Hope you liked your visit, murderous fauna and all!
@Draven22: Oh definitely. But coming from a country with, like... one dangerous snake you are unlikely to ever encounter, to Australia and within a matter of days managing to get bitten (the day after the relatives pointed out a very venomous spider in the house too) was a bit 'this is it, this is how I die, I should have known better' XD The family weren't surprised. Somehow I tend to get into potentially serious accidents when abroad. That being said, spiders :I
@zenat: hate spiders =3=
Ha, you were lucky there wasn't a spider under the toilet rim or a snake in your shoe. Or God forbid, a dreaded Magpie trying to peck out your eyes.
