Return of the color! Not that I really have the time but, you know, Viconia is in it. So that was that.
I will always get fuzzy feelings when Baldur's Gate comes up, because it is the Game of Games to me. It made me really, truly fall in love with fantasy, with rpgs, and Viconia doomed me to adore drow. So many bad novels I have read because of her...
So way back in the day I was playing Baldur's Gate and pickpocketed a dragon without it noticing, and I got a sword for my troubles. Hooray! But then... the thoughts of where a dragon would actually keep a sword on it came and have plagued me ever since.

I know how you feel <3 I adore Baldur's Gate silly and I managed to force all of my flatmates who didn't know it yet to at least try playing it.

(That's why the co-owner of my cat agreed to name him Edwin Odesseiron.)

And oh, the joys of pickpocketing. Sometimes you wonder how the hell did that guy/creature get SOMETHING THIS SHINY. Though my pickpocketing moment of glory came in BG1 when my PC relived Drizzt of Twinkle. Which made me overpowered for the rest of the game, but I cackled every time I opened my inventory :D

No matter where you got that from the dragon, I think you were doing it a favor, pick "pocket"-ing it.

Hey, as long as the pickpocketing was a success and you got something good out of it, that's all that matters. At least, that's how I think, anyway. XD

Cullen confirmed as romancible in DAI! Are you exited at the prospect or will this ruin the allure?

@warrion: I tried to kill Drizzt to loot him more times than I can count, but he's so damn overpowered that even when attacked by a horde of gnolls, or whatever it was, plus the party he chopped everyone into bits. Clearly your pickpocketing plan holds merit.

@Cheesemonger: Then why do they get so angry when you fail? :I

@Ariel: But there's not nearly enough disinfectant on the Sword Coast to make that sword usable D:

@CityElfRager: It is probably a good thing that the release is so far away (no, it's not), so I have plenty of time to decide whether I want to be a lady qunari and romance the tiniest romancable NPC or to play a bloodmage and romance Cullen. The first time, I mean. They are clearly both going to happen eventually.

@zenat: "I want to be a lady qunari and romance the tiniest romancable NPC or to play a bloodmage and romance Cullen" You are a horrible, horrible person.

@Norgrath: I should tell you about my Crusader Kings 2 experiences some time...

@zenat: of course he's overpowered, it's Drizzt we're talking about. Bastard >.> So pickpocketing him is about as good as it gets. I think there's certain irony in Drizzt Do'Urden, one of the few drow to escape Lloth's influence, having his beloved scimitar stolen by the future god of murder. (I vaguely remember someone telling me they killed him though? For about 12k XP. In a game that has a cap at 161k with the datadisc included. Yep, he's tough.)

...too bad I can't steal something from Elminster's pockets too...

Btw, "be a lady qunari and romance the tiniest romancable NPC" is an awesome plan and I'm stealing it for one of my playthroughs :D (Oh please, can Varric meet the requirements? That would be one epic and hilarious love story)
