Sometimes friends discuss gaming relationships. Sometimes it goes like this. Frankly, I was so far on the sidelines on this one that all I saw was Zenatness laughing until crying and Redadmiral raging about it. I was most confused.
@Amare: Tears of cruel, genuine joy. I regret nothing. Having Malin keep me updated on her Mass Effect playthrough was one of my better decisions.
i love it when this updates, i just wanna take to my room and make sweet sweet love to it /3
That's... wow. How have you been playing to miss ALL the romance options? Was Malin too distracted driving in the Mako across monotonous landscapes in ME:ONE, probing planets all day in ME:TWO, and running from the reapers in ME:THREE or something?
@Draven22: Aww <3 the updates are in need of some sweet sweet lovin' so feel free ;D
@Deonis: I don't know, I'm kinda baffled too XD. Zenat was much more involved in the process. Malin is just that impressive in her game procrastination skills? She levels it well? I don't think Malin liked the mako to be honest (I did). So really, I don't know XD
I remember my friend was once trying to romance Kaiden in the first game (for reasons beyond my knowledge) and ended up accidentally romancing Liara.
my sister made the same mistake XD
but were you ever tempted to romance thane or jacob before ME3 came out?
@Deonis: Malin spent a great deal of the games (all three of them) fretting and fearing the consequences of her actions. So she kept postponing the romance decision, because she couldn't decide between Garrus and Thane (but was very adamant that she was not going to stick with Kaidan), and by the time she had decided they didn't want to talk to her anymore because she'd waited too long. I call her the unwilling faithful and laugh at her misery.
@Griffen: that's funny XD It's like me trying to romance Fenris and somehow three years passed and I was stuck with Anders.
@Aurelia Cetinn: I considered Thane at one point. However, Garrus. Garrus, Garrus, Garrus. XD
garrus, garrus, garrus, garrus, garrus, garrus, garrus.
Oh yes, Garrus! Looks like I'm not the only one who couldn't resist the interspecies romance, and hey let's face it: Garrus is the one you can be renegade with without offending the guys moral code. But to COMPLETELY BYPASS romance though? that's an art my friend. ;)
Some of us actually LIKE Kaidan, thanks. Choosing him is not a mistake, just a different playthrough.
@Guest: We never said that no one liked Kaidan. The comic is about our friend's playthrough when she DID make a mistake and *unintentionally* stayed with Kaidan. Which is also a valid playthrough.
@Aurelia Cetinn: Garrus, Garrus, Garrus, Garrus, Garrus, Garrus, Garrus!
@Sam: Malin has made an art of many things. There will be follow-ups on this XD.
@Guest: I happen to like Kaidan too. It's just in Malin's case she didn't want to stay with him XD and then *ugly laughter*. I, myself, was seriously considering picking Kaidan in the last game actually. So in short, never said it was a mistake. Besides, whatever you choose is your choice and your playthrough and I won't judge anyone for it ^^.
@Amare: I will await the sequel! xD I must admit I did manage to screw up my romance with fenris in DA2 (I couldn't live with myself after that and quickly erased all evidence of the playthrough). ;)
@Draven22: Best comment ever! It speaks to me on so many levels.... yes..... just yes!
