I know I'm part of a minority here, but I for one spared Loghain and am hoping that we will see him again in Inquisition (though I acknowledge that 'recruitable and romancable' is off the table, it does not prevent me from lamenting the fact (unless Bioware can give me directions as to what kind of sacrifice would be suitable to achieve such an end)).

As for the actual comic... Amare and I have theorized that living in Orlais can be like living in a Disney movie. And also that these impromptu musical acts are part of why Loghain hates the Orlesians. Look, I'm just saying that Leliana did nothing to discredit this theory, ok?

I don't think we will be seeing him again. He wasn't in Dragon Age 2. Or any of the DLC's.

Yeah... I'd have thrown myself on a sword by now. I'd choose that over having to listen to some wayward Disney weirdo sing his/her heart out over some (not so) impossible love.

In my head cannon, if my warden spares Loghain, with or without Alistair-king, I imagine he is assigned to "Liaison-General" with the legion of the dead. Punished AND useful, I figure Loghain would approve.

Anora can visit daddy during political travels to Orzimmar.

Technically exile, but he can still keep the darkspawn out of beloved Fereldan. Also, His letters home would show Fereldan nobs how close the spawn threat are, even after blight. Orzimmar is right nextto you fools, get some troops down there.

I know this comic is old, but I just wanted to say, you are not alone in your love for Loghain. I spared him just to see the game play, and I enjoyed having him around, oddly enough.

Worked out for him. He got to sleep with Morrigan (My dalish elf Sherai really wanted to save as many people as possible).

hasher in hindsight(spoiler alert)

In Inquisition, should Loghain survive(meaning Hawke sacrifice his/her selve), he gets assigned to lead what is left of the Grey Wardens... in Orlais. Yes his only fellow comrades are Orlesians. The comic shows the funny part, but the book tells why Loghain hates Orlesians and how Ferelden has a hard time letting history go. You know there is a reason why in awaking that your Orlesian Warden commander has a hard time getting people to trust them.

"Well you should've thought of that before you sold my friends and family into slavery, ya mook!"

@Random City Elf: I think it is fair to say that an exile into Orlais probably never occurred to him as a possible punishment.
