Aside from playing Dragon Age and so on, we also roleplay. And SWTOR got us interested in playing in the Star Wars universe.
And yes, the later one happened. "We want to play people in the Empire" we said. "No force users" we said. Then my character, colonel Maric Ridge, ended up with some ancient rakata in his head that tried to take over and, well... he nearly died. And is now, at the age of 42, suffering through sith training. He is not pleased (though that is his standard state).

You weren't actually happy to roll force sensitivity as an imperial were you?

@Norgrath: Well, it was followed by "Well, you'll probably die a test subject this way... if you roll a 20 again, you'll get a block that makes other force users unable to sense your force unless they luck out like whoa" and... uh... I rolled a 20? XD

Ooo~! I thought Star Wars was a d10 system though? In any case, this makes me want to play Star Wars RPG...

@Impirialist: It might be, we tend to freestyle a lot, especially when it comes to stuff not in the books.

Sounds like you had better luck than us

Wow, it sounds like you guys know how to do this tabletop stuff, My friends, sister, and I tried the Dragon Age pen and paper game, for the first time ever, yesterday, and the battle system of the free sample we downloaded took forever! It should not take two hours to kill a Genlock, I don't care what universe you're from, but it should not! I also noticed you said something about Freestyling?
Oh and by the way, I love these Bioware comics you guys post here! XD

@zenat: Congratulations, you've taken your first steps on the path of the Mary Sue.

@Queenoftherandomword: Yeeeeah... see, that's exactly when the rules go out the window and you start freestyling XD

@Norgrath: Haha, well, I think he's got a good chance at winning the title of Grumpiest Sue if he gets there. Or at least Grumpiest Torture Technician Sue. It's a tough field to compete in, after all XD (damnit don't tempt me to run characters through the Mary Sue Litmus test, I lose hours that way)

Reminds me of last night's D&D. Except the 20 was for allowing the dwarf in my party to slap Lord Neverember (Lord Protector of Neverwinter).
