I can't say much about the other classes, because I haven't gotten that far with them, but after finishing the agent's story I felt the flirts were always... very to the point. Except not enough when I wanted them to be (Chance, I am looking at you).
Bounty hunters, however, are a whoooole different story. It's clear that they are *meant* to be played like some big burly action hero, and I'm not doing that. I'm playing Dasin aka Cuddle-foo, who just wants everyone to get along and really people, violence is not the only solution! Playing super light side bounty hunter, with the voice being so very geared towards dark side, makes for a hilarious double life.
The flirting though. Oh dear lord the flirting.
The bounty hunter's lines can get really creepy. Making him the kind of a guy you'd quickly edge away from the moment you heard the words come out of his mouth. That being said, so far the only ones who react favorably to such comments are sith. Everyone else react with "oh dear lord no", however veiled. I like that. A lot.
What I like less is that it means that poor Dasin can't flirt without coming off as a creep.
Mako is not included in my calculations. She comes off as 14. Dasin thinks that Torian and Mako make an adorable little couple and if you kids want to have the ship to yourself for the day then just let him know. Stars know that he's not touching her.
I'm not saying that violence is the best option, I'm just saying that is always an option
I found the Jedi Knight flirt options oddly sarcastic. Mostly sarcasm about how love will lead to the fall of the Jedi Order. Needless to say, Kira Carsen and my Jedi caused 'the collapse of the Jedi Order' many times.
@Shiba_Naganori: "Hey, baby, want to cause the collapse of the Jedi Order with me?"
@Almightyra: Sometimes the only option too :I
My main is a completely Lightside Bounty Hunter. I haven't had him flirt with anyone outside of Mako, and his lines with her always seem very protective.
@Lynneiah: I've resisted saying this until now, "You make my Jedi temple explode."
Hmm...is Star Wars: The Old Republic truly astounding as I have heard from others?
@Losuurx: Let me put it this way: the agent's story is the kind of story I have wanted for a decade. But I wish I could replay it without having to make another agent and level all the way to 50 again. The bounty hunter story is alright, I've only started some of the others (smuggler, sith warrior, sith inquisitor) but I think it's worth having a peek at, at least. The downside for me, who have very little freetime these days, is that SWTOR demands A LOT of time to go through a story, and I'm more interested in the story than doing general MMO things.
