Sort of a follow up to my last comic.
Look, all I'm saying is that I would have dumped each and every romance for Zaeed. Even Garrus. Even if Jack was doing her puppy eye thing.
And Bioware need to either stop giving us fit 40+ men of questionable morals but with some standards and sexy voices, or make them romancable. And the fandom needs more Zaeed, Arishok and Loghain art and fanfic.
Arishok, agreed. I'm so fascinated with the Qunari it's not even funny. ;_;
Sorry, panel 2 with Garrus beating that guy up...that Shepherd just screams me...just need to actually HAVE a date first...
@mahigan: You and me both T_T
@rinalicat: Haha, that was me at the time XD It totally was a date, Garrus just didn't know. And Jack was along because... I don't know. Shhh... don't destroy this with logic...
You forgot Canderous... unless you haven't played Knights of the Old Republic...
Oh, I remember Canderous. He'd definitely make the list. :)
Speaking of the Arishok, if the cover of one of the latest DA comics by Bioware is any indication, it seems Sten's the new Arishok now.
I knew it! I suspected this would happen eventually, it's almost like with Wrex in ME! *victory dance*
@PersephoneWatching: Loghain. Yes. Mmm-mmm. Do want.
I bought Knights of the Old Republic, and played an hour and a half before getting distracted, I'm afraid XD
@Bansheebot: ... somehow, I find myself disapproving. Possibly because I loved the DA2 Arishok to bits and pieces. I will be most upset if they kill him off even if I spared him :I
@zenat: Hmm, I doubt they'd kill him if you spared him. He'd either remain Arishok in such a scenario or be demoted to a lesser military position, if they really want Sten as the new Arishok. As Fenris put it, qunari waste nothing. They only execute deserters (Tal-Vashoth) or unbound Saarebas. Everyone else has to serve.
... And now I feel dorky for knowing all this. xD
@Bansheebot: Well yes, but I'm more concerned about 'there was an event that you never got to see and he died in it' scenarios, for the sake of not having to do a ME3 Tuchanka 'what if' work around D: (I loved that part of ME3 though)
@zenat: Let's hope not! That would be cheap on Bioware's part, to pull off a "yeah, the Arishok's dead, because stuff happened". Not that they'd never do something like this, but come on, there's limits to that kind of thing. D:
@zenat: I demand DLC to play as a Qunari! I want to know SO MUCH about them. alskdjflkajsdlkfjasd raaaaage.
you have to remember, it was Zaeed's accent.
I had a thing for ME2 Jack, reminds me of Natalie Portman in V for Vendetta. :D
I think if we spared the Arishok Sten probably would be promoted to Kithshok, in any event, even if the Arishok were still alive. Sten just seemed too experienced to simply stay at the Sten role, The Qun wastes nothing. Might have just been me but seeing Sten with a new updated look and wearing the Arishok shoulder pads made me go all giddy fangirl >_<... I think I'm going to have to get the comics just to catch up with what's been going on now >_>.
Yeah, bioware is such a tease
Sure they give you characters to romance, but then they have those characters (with that voice or that unf attitude) that you really want to romance but you can't!
Bioware, the tease
@Jay: I'm on the fence on that one. There's a difference between not wasting anything, and promotion. There is also the whole 'Sten could very well be left in his cage and die when the darkspawn come' situation. No one likes having their choices retconned out of existance (not that I ever did that, but I'm sure some did).
@thealmightymoo: Haha, I'm fairly accent deaf to be honest. His voice did good things for him though XD
@mahigan: Oh yes, do want!
I don't think, that they exchange Sten with the Arishok within the game. Comics and books have another kanon than the games. Also we don't know one thing: Will Alistair become mr stabbity-stab-stab, if the qunari done something unsatisfying to Maric?
