So, this is going to be a story in three parts, showing the romance as I experienced it when playing DA2 for the second time.
I was going to have Merrill as my final romance, but she decided to turn up before Fenris, and, well, gotta catch 'em all?

The little heart on Fenris' butt made me grin. Also, his face for the last panel got a bunch of giggles out of me.

Hell, the dialogue was perfect too.

I just saw the tramp stamp.

That made my day.

Ahhh, DA2 romances. The only Bioware's game when my PC doesn't get a lover :D
Horrible, horrible romances of DA2...
Well, my Hawke has got Carver so everything is OK :3

Fenris stole my heart the moment he was all rude about me being a mage after I went out of my way to help him <3

I fell in love the moment I saw Anders. HARD. I understand in the end why he blew up the Chantry, I understand his conflict. I couldn't turn him down, didn't matter what playthrough. Didn't matter, I loved him. :B

Be hilarious if Fenris was just trolling the whole time, just because he was tired of Hawke breaking everyone's hearts. Too OOC for him though. :/

(I personally always romance him - he may have left, but it was because he wasn't really ready for a relationship in the first place. He hadn't moved on from his past. With Danarius dead, he has a better chance of it. He's generally more sociable and happy in Act 3 anyway...)

Oh, Fenris. The heart on his ass really makes this one, I think.

I like to imagine that my Hawke and Fenris had a 3-year Puppy-Eyes-Off.

You draw the facial expressions PERFECTLY!! This is soooo funny and clever! I love Ander's twilight reference ;D and Fenris <3

Oh god you just ruined the Anders romance for me, augh. What a horrible but strangely appropriate context.

Fenris <3

Dat ass! XD But love this one so much. Everybody loves Hawke. Sometimes twice a night! :)

tramp stamp

I registered for this website purely to tell you that Fenris's lyrium tramp stamp is the funniest fukkin thing I've seen all year.

@elainevdw: Haha, it always pleases me when people notice the details so thank you! :D

Does Anders actually tell you that you're his personal brand of lyrium? o.O *never romanced him*

This is hilarious. Also the exact opposite of what I do when shipping characters. Mine is not a gotta catch them all, but move of, you, your story doesn't make me want to rip my great hair out the least, your 'it'. And then I do not make the character flirt with anyone else. So Rival Merrill was chosen, because of reasons.

I only really played a catch them all in the witcher games. So, gameplay wise, that means running away from people with an amulet in skyrim awkwardly tabbing if anyone noticed the amulet who I didn't like, trying not to accidentally say something flirty to Zevran/Lelianna, or two of the three companions in DOS2, or in BG2 being really mean to Aerie so she doesn't cramp Viconia. Great art, real great, but why Fenris over Merrill?

But the real question is, who put the funny stamp there: your hawke, Isabella, Denarius, Sandal?

@wildmageguy: To be perfectly honest, I was going for Merrill, but Fenris held out the longest and with my "gotta catch 'em all" attitude... well...

I like to think of the tramp stamp and heart as essential to the design of his lyrium tattoos. They simply don't work without them.
