Merry Christmas :D (Christmas is celebrated December 24 in Sweden)

Somewhat different from the usual comic, but nonetheless. My friend Jonas and I were discussing Dragon Age 2, and this... is actually pretty much what happened actually XD We can reach glorious heights (lows?) of insensitivity together.

And yes, I did try the whole 'sell Fenris back with Anders in the party' to see if Anders really was as big a twat as I had heard. He was. I also thought I'd end up fighting Fenris. He... did not fight. That was the most horrible moment in all of DA2. Guilt trip of doom. The end.

Lols! It may be insensitive, but it's true! XD

Fenris + whores = BONUS

Posted @ December 24th, 2011, 9:20 am

The worst part is that... Fenris doesn't even get mad at you. He's just... really accepting in a really sad way. If he at least punched Hawke or Danarius in the face or something... but no. He just goes, his head hanging... all while Anders is all "LOLOLOL I thought I was the only one thinking that!" >:C

It never occurred to me to even try that. I guess I'll have to make myself play it through for the twelfth time and try it.

MeeszyAlexy: Yeah... I thought I'd have to fight him, but no. He just... gives up. That was what made it truly horrible (and made me want to plant my fist in Anders' face) D:

thenezumi: I tried it just to see what would happen... but didn't save it. I just couldn't D:

Youre assuming he actually was a friend that fought and bled with you for years.

I personally never even take him along. And i think any mage Hawke that was patient enough to keep him till then has more than enough reason to sell him off.

That being said, im not a mage Hawke and i didnt sell him off. So please dont find out where i live and please dont come over and hurt me.

Posted @ December 24th, 2011, 4:40 pm

@RandomComment: So selling somebody to slavery, knowing that they were horribly screwed up by it is perfectly reasonable if they don't agree with your morals, ethics and/or opinions? What?

Posted @ December 25th, 2011, 1:30 pm

@RandomComment: Well, Fenris never stands around ready for combat 30 meters away from the battle like Aveline does with me, so for me he's the best warrior available, thus he gets dragged around everywhere XD
That being said, I think a mage Hawke can easily get it into their head to prove him wrong about mages. At least that's what I'm doing... when I'm not being a blood mage.

I didn't even know there were comics being put up! D:

Lol, anywhore, I personally don't like Fenris. I think he's whiny, and I don't get what fangirls see in him. That being said, I still wouldn't give him to what's-his-nuts because I'm not a diabolical twat XD

Posted @ December 26th, 2011, 9:31 pm

@zenat: The trick to having Aveline do stuff is to change the conditions under which she uses stonewall to being on low health rather than being surrounded by X enemies.

Posted @ December 27th, 2011, 1:18 am

Logan Cloud: Haha, surprise Christmas gift? XD As for the romance options... I never really cared for any of them. If I'd have to pick anyone in the group it would be Aveline or Varric... and both are off limits (thanks, Bioware XD)

Norgrath: If I remember correctly, it's actually the retaliation that's being buggy for me. I have solved the issue but not allowing her to learn it XD

Posted @ December 27th, 2011, 5:47 am

@zenat: I try to like Merrill, but I just can't do it. I hate the naive romances in Bioware. It seems to easy. :l

I like the ones that make you work for affection, like Morrigan and Isabela. Origins had much better romances though. But Isabela isn't all bad... Scratch that, she's an awfully shallow whore, but she's nice sometimes, and she fits in with my sarcastic Hawke nicely, so I can't complain :D

Although, if I were gay, I might go for Anders. He seems like he's got the "I love you but I don't want to hurt you" thing going on, which always adds good substance to a story.

Posted @ December 27th, 2011, 11:22 am

Logan Cloud: You know, I can't see myself doing Merrill. She's just...I see her, I see the romance option, and suddenly it turns red and a shimmering outline of frightening words appear.

(My brother is convinced I'm a moron. He goes with it because he likes how pissy Carver gets)

Posted @ December 31st, 2011, 11:03 am

@Logan Cloud: It's not so much what this fangirl sees in Fenris, as what I hear in Fenris, namely Gideon Emery's sexy, sexy voice. He had me at "Your men are dead, and your trap has failed."

Posted @ January 3rd, 2012, 7:54 am

@rosedotnoire: Was Gideon Emery in Skyrim? I remember my friend was having fangasms over that, but she wasn't sure if he actually was. :P

Posted @ January 3rd, 2012, 10:26 am

@Logan Cloud: I am ashamed to admit this, because I'm going to lose all kinds of geek cred, but I haven't played Skyrim yet, so I don't know if Gideon Emery's in it or not.

Regarding the Anders romance, I can't do it because he pushes my "If you loved me, you'd..." buttons. Also, the "now we've had sex; can I move in?" think had my poor committment-shy Hawke ready to run the other way. Plus, if you romance Fenris first, Anders is a complete jerk and calls Fenris a "beast". My Hawke kicked him to the curb.

Posted @ January 3rd, 2012, 6:44 pm

@rosedotnoire: No shame there bud haha. Skyrim isn't really for everyone. In fact, I'm starting to like Bioware more (which is amazing, 'cause Oblivion was one of my all time favourite games lol.) Skyrim is great though, don't get me wrong. I recommend getting it. :D

As for Anders, I can see how that's annoying for most people. There's not really any GOOD romances in DA2. I always liked Alistair's romance in Origins. I feel like he reflects me pretty well. (Sarcastic, nervous, a little whiny lol.)

Posted @ January 3rd, 2012, 7:25 pm

@rosedotnoire: Also, "Geek Cred"? You just made my night. XD

Gonna start using that now haha

Posted @ January 3rd, 2012, 7:29 pm

@rosedotnoire: The Anders romance... amen to that one D: He displays so many warning signs of an unstable personality and a very unhealthy relationship that it didn't come as a surprise that he went completely haywire in act 3. However, if you didn't dump him right after sex you were stuck with him. For years :I

Long after the fact; redheads FTW! XD

Posted @ January 15th, 2012, 1:27 pm
