I ran over that space monkey by accident. Then I noticed the renegade points, and proceeded to slaughter the entire colony, even after I realized that I only got points for the first one. Worth it.
I really could not drive the mako. It was so bad that every time someone mentioned driving anywhere in ME2 I was filled with dread, and every time it was revealed that there was no mako to drive only a cutscene implying that it had been done... great, glorious relief.
And no, I did not like the hammerhead either, thought it was easier to control. I sneezed and it broke. Ugh.
Oh the thresher maws... I almost forgot how much I hated them XD In a good way though. They were a challenge, without... well... inducing accidental wall-humping due to too small areas to move in XD
Alenko, after I accidentally ran over a space monkey: "remind me not to get on your bad side, commander". good thing he didn't throw a big hissy fit in ME2 or anything, right? ...wait.
Ah, yes! I too suffered from bad driving! I'd get out to shoot enemies and then get back in the Mako because I was so horrible at shooting things from inside the vehicle... XP (I actually drew a comic/pic based on the idea too... :P)
Thank to Mako we've got tons of funny comic about it. So it's not that bad. Plus, many people decided to study driving rules little more so... less traffic?
EVERYONE HATES THE MAKO
But no one seems at all concerned about the bit where you fly across the galaxy faster than the speed of light in it at the end. I mean, I feel unsafe when people accelerate quicker than I'm used to in the car.
XD story of my shepard's life, hahahah.
Oh Maker... Driving that Mako around is like trying to navigate an Ikea cart...
*is not flinching horribly whenever I see a mention of the Mako* >.< I feel the pain (tears) I just got the Mass Effect Trilogy, and the Mako is kicking my ass o.O I think I almost drove into lava... it accelerates to fast! It is a scary vehicle O.O (...i'm so tempted to let my brother drive it around one of these days, just to see how horribly he does..) and its so easy to run into things *coughWallscough*
@Chey: I... have driven into lava. Mainly because the texture didn't load and the lava and the road were both black and I couldn't see but TAT
and only drove the Mako once so far, to rescue Liara, but unless that's like the easiest time you use it, it was nowhere as bad as I expected. Your comics actually had me horrified to even try and then it was all "Oh. This isn't bad at all." Especially since I'm usually SO BAD at driving in games.
My Shepard always thought she was awesome with driving. The disaster that followed suggested otherwise.
