Zevran, you little liar you <3 I'd have been annoyed had I not played a lockpicking rogue myself the first time around. As I always do, because, well... loot.
I had to play through a large section of the game to get those screencaps, because apparently no one out there felt that it was a good idea to put up Zevran's original sheet where people like me could find it. Oh well.
It seems we've managed to make these past two weeks elf weeks XD
Bashing locks... I miss doing that. Mainly because I absolutely hate leaving loot behind, and sometimes your stats are just slightly too low then and there. Still, I think I'd drag Zevran around anyway, because, hey, it's Zevran <3
Every group needs their whore. Why do you think they brought back Isabela in the second game? I'm sure in DA3, there's going to be a whore there too. Zevran might even make a third appearance just to get into the new hero's pants. You can't kill that bastard off, even if you tried in the first. D:
Every time people mention that they killed Zevran I automatically make this face D:
I liked Zevran, but not Isabela. He had more going on than her, and she just felt like the one trick pony of sex jokes. I suppose I shall have to romance her to see if there's more to it :/
I came so close to killing him, but talked to him at the last moment. I'm so glad I did ;-)
Haha, well, the second time I was playing Origins I decided I was going to be an ass. Even so, I could not bring myself to kill Zevran, for I knew how awesome he was XD
I kept trying to get the ALL CHARACTERS achievement but I can't bring myself into keeping Loghain alive, despite having everyone else PLUS Shale with me. I just hate that bastard..
Well, I know I belong with the minority on that one, but I love Loghain. Unfortunately, he suffers a severe case of losing-badassery when he joins you, and goes from kicking your ass this way until next week to ok but not good. As they always do...
Alistair's bitch fit when told that the blight was more important than his personal grudge worked in Loghain's favor too... -.-
Couldn't you just kill him right after realizing that? Inception logic.
Nope. Once you agree to spare Zevran's life, there is no killing him unless he turns on you later because you suck as a leader (or don't give enough shiny things). Kind of like there's no way to get any kind of petty revenge on Alistair (aside from forcing him to shag Morrigan) once he dump your non-human chick after she gives him the throne D<
I feel a hint of rage from you today, zenat.
70 hours of planning on how to make it a bloody and violent Cinderella story later, I am told that no, I dumped Zevran and his puppy eyes only to be told that since I'm an elf I can't be queen. And since I encouraged Alistair, he's too goody-two-shoes to keep me as a mistress? Rage was had. And I'm still bitter XD
I then proceeded to play a male human noble, marry Anora and execute Alistair - that will teach him to wrong me in another life XD
Heh. I hated that too. I find it racist. Why can't a Dwarf or Dalish be King/Queen? I mean, in a technicality...the Dwarf Nobles were once Nobility. I mean...look at that marriage at England. The Prince and the Commoner woman. Make it happen, Bioware.
On one hand I like that you can't be king or queen if you're not a human noble, because it speaks of a restricted society which DA is supposed to be all about, but the issue I had was that I didn't feel properly warned. There wasn't enough racism and discrimination throughout the game to truly alert me that it was going to be an issue even if I killed the Archdemon and stopped the Blight. So after Alistair reveals that he's a prince and I spend 70 hours planning how to get the throne... no, sorry, you're an elf. It doesn't matter (aside from the beginning and a total of two comments in the game) except it does now :I
@zenat: This is going to be my background, now
I wondered if I was the only one who noticed that *LOL* I laughed out loud at this one :D
@Pittlers: Well XD I guess everyone needs a bit of trollface!Zevran in their lives?
