I love Cullen to bits and pieces, but I think the game could do with a "no magic" button for the mages, so you can avoid situations like this when fighting around templars.

I so totaly fell off my bed (onto my head.. ouch) when this happened.. and just laid there for a while thinking 'REALLY? is stupidity a sort of selective trait in Templars that they get to choose? choice A)chock full of crazy (Meredith)
B)Stupidity! (#1 trait of modern Templars! choose now or be a nut..) or,
C)Completely normal but able to spot Apostates other-wise! (probably the least-chosen choice... so sad.)

Actually, I think it makes sense...

... if and only if we import a DA:O playthrough where the Warden was a female Amell. Of course his crush's cousin can't be a mage, no matter that the crush was a mage, no matter that he just saw her use magic! Now, I'll just look the other way while the cousin uses magic.
